Department of art-historical documentation consists of: library, photo study collection a archive of documents.

Archive of SIAH

The Archive of SIAH consists mainly of the collection of excerpts and bibliographical recherche. Its main function is to serve the experts of SIAH.

The main part of bibliographical collection are the excerpts of Slovak, German and Hungarian magazines from the brink of 18th century, from 18th and 20th century related to cultural history and art-historical fund of Slovakia.

Location and subject sort excerpts.

And last but not least, the bibliography of art exhibitions held in Slovakia as well as bibliography of essential personalities of the history of Slovak art history constitutes a considerable part of our collection.

The Archive of bibliographical recherche is accessible to the internal employees of SIAH.
